Last week, our beloved friend and musical inspiration passed away. We are left with a sadness that can't be mollified and a loss that can't be filled.

Nate worked tirelessly at his art and humbly said that he was still learning his craft. He may never have known that he and his horn had an enormous, reverberating impact on all who listened and loved to hear him play.

Nate truly was a jazz giant, and when giants leave, the empty space left behind can be overwhelming.
